UPDATE: Came back, turned it off. one guy came out of the shower and said he was jamming, the other guy just had headphones one. 3rd roomie went to the gym with me, so he didnt hear it.
My uni room is a house which I share with 3 other guys. I left this playing @ a medium-loud volume, and locked the door. I'm posting from the gym right now, its been 3 hours. Wonder what the house is going to look like when I get back.

I'd put about 5 pounds of talcum powder on the floor right at the bottom of your door.
Then I'd blow all 5 pounds of it into your room with some compressed air.
After that, I'd pennyjam your door .

I guess it depends on your tolerance for Nyan Cat.
If I was your dorm-mate and you set up your PC to play Nyan Cat non stop and I was trying to study ......I'm guessing you'd be cleaning 5 pounds of talcum powder out of your room and you'd be seriously butt-hurt about your 2000 dollar PC having a coating a fine talc in and on it.
If you do the penny jamming right, the door is completely jammed shut from both sides as you jam the locking mechanism against the striker plate. It really only works on steel framed doors (like you would find in a school or dorm) as wooden frame doors have to much give in them.
